Transit Teammate Appreciation Day
Transit Teammate Appreciation Day, which is in the spring, is one of our favorite days of the year! It’s when we celebrate the life-changing opportunities our teammates make possible for residents every day, how they handle themselves with grace when faced with difficult situations and the myriad ways they meet the evolving needs of our growing ridership. We see our teammates making a positive mark on those who rely on and choose IndyGo.
On Transit Teammate Appreciation Day, we thank our frontline workers for providing safe, reliable and accessible transit services daily. We also thank the many teammates who work behind the scenes to support IndyGo. We have multiple celebrations at our facilities throughout the day where teammates can enjoy free food, a surprise gift, music, raffles and fun!
Excellence Awards
IndyGo hosts annual Excellence Awards to recognize internal team members who go above and beyond their general expectations across various categories. These awards highlight the tireless efforts of staff members who are essential to IndyGo’s growth.
The awards are granted to individuals who demonstrate exceptional behavior in areas such as strong communication, superior work ethic, flexibility leadership and growth.
Grill & Chill
Each fall, IndyGo hosts a Grill & Chill event. Grill & Chill is much more than just your ordinary cookout. It’s an opportunity to come together as a community and enjoy tailgate food, play games, win prizes and connect with your fellow team members as well as the IndyGo leadership team!
